Using the website
We trust you find our website easy to use. If you have any general comments or suggestions as to how it could be improved, please contact us on sales@ancestry-maps.com

If you experience technical problems with the website (such as pages not loading, inactive buttons or error messages) we suggest that, before contacting us, you relaunch your web browser or use a different one, and try again. Most problems are solved this way.

If you are still having difficulties, please email support@cassinimaps.com or call 08452 300 954 (this will connect you to a recording service which is checked regularly) with a brief description of the problem.

If your questions can’t be answered on the website itself, we are happy to offer help and advice to enable you to choose what you need. Please email sales@ancestry-maps.com or call 08452 300 952 (this will connect you to a recording service which is checked regularly). Please supply as many relevant details as possible and we shall get back to you as soon as possible. If we can’t provide what you need we shall, if we can, suggest other places for you to try.

Placing your order online
We want to ensure that your order is correct and delivered promptly. Here are a few tips to bear in mind...

• Please check your order before confirming it. Details of what you have ordered, the p&p costs, the effect of any discount coupons and the total sum you will pay will be provided before you confirm it. Where applicable, the inscriptions on personalised maps also require your approval. Please check these before proceeding.
• Please check you have entered your email address correctly. It seems obvious, but it’s all to easy to put a hyphen rather than a full stop or miss out a number. Any mistakes will result in your not receiving email confirmation of your order and, if you’ve ordered PDFs, not being able to download them.
• Please enter your delivery postcode using capitals and a space. LL51 6SL is a lot easier for the Post Office equipment (and Postman Pat) to read than ll5165l.

The ‘My Account’ page
Once you have placed an order with us an account is set up for you automatically. You can access this by clicking on the My Account button on the left side of the home page and entering your email address and customer code when prompted. We do not store details of your credit or debit cards or other payment details on this or any other part of our site.

• If you have ordered PDF downloads you will need to visit this page to access your maps.
• You can also view your entire order history and check the status of orders (see below).
• If you wish, you can also change your customer code at any time.

Checking the status of your order
Once your order has been placed, you can visit the My Account section of this website (see above) to check its status.

Once logged on, you’ll see your order history – click on ‘view’ to see details of a particular order. Under ‘Order status’, the first three boxes will usually be ticked. The fourth box will be ticked if the order has been processed.
